NEW UKRAINE: TOUR KIEV - LVIV 06 DAYS/05 NIGHTS

Day 01 - KIEV
Arrival to the capital of Ukraine and transfer from Boryspil international airport to the hotel of the chosen category. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

Day 02 - KIEV
Breakfast. Morning city tour including: St Sophia Cathedral (inside visit) - Kiev oldest surviving church of 13 majestic domes, built in 1037 by Prince Yaroslav the Wise to glorify Christianity, ancient frescoes. Walk along Andreyevskiy Descent - one of the oldest streets of the city called Kiev Monmartre with various galleries and art shops, a traditional place for different festivals. Lunch at the traditional Ukrainian restaurant. Visit to the functioning Cave Monastery (Lavra) founded in 1051 by the monks with the aim to popularize the Christianity. It contains miles of maze-like underground tunnels (catacombs) with a numerous churches and ancient mummies in sarcophagus, interesting museums, including: the Museum of Microminiatures, the Museum of the Decorative Art of Ukraine (works of artisans). Visit of the National Art Museum of Ukraine. In the evening free time for personal activities. An optional river cruise along the Dnieper is recommended. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 03 - KIEV / LVIV
Breakfast. Free time in the morning for personal activities and shopping. Evening excursion to Pirogovo Open Air Museum - Ukrainian Museum of Folk Architecture & Rural Life in Pirogovo. Dinner at the hotel. Transfer to the railway station. Night train # 91 (first class - compartment for 2 pax) to Lviv (not incl.).

Day 04 - LVIV
Morning arrival in Lviv. Transfer to the hotel of the chosen category. Accommodation and dinner. Excursion in the medieval part of the city centre including: famous Gothic Cathedral of John the Baptist and Virgin Maria, churches of the Renaissance epoch of Saint Nicholas, Saint Onufriy, Saint Andrew and Saint Paraskeva, the central street constructed in the times of the Austro-Hungarian Empire (IX), Rynok Square, Lychakiv cemetery with 1500 unique monuments and sculptures. Free time in the afternoon. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 05 - LVIV
Breakfast. Continuation of the city tour including Town hall, the Latin Gothic Cathedral, beautiful Cathedrals of Bernardines in the Baroque style and Cathedral of Jesuits and Dominicans, the Golden and Rose Synagogue that is famous all over Europe, ancient fortifications of the city. Free time in the afternoon. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 06 - LVIV
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Departure. End of services.
